“Having lived in the Northwest for most of my life, it has come to be more than just home. Here is where my family grows, where I compose, and spend time with friends. In the mountains, along the waters, ande in the mossy forest I seek out solitude and comfort, and renew my spirit. I have been inspired by the lushness and beauty the great Northwest has to offer. I hope to bring you a glimpse of these musical inspirations and give you a walk down a wondrous Emerald Pathway.

Most of my past recordings have showcased my love of Latin rhythms and World beat. This time around I was in the mood for a little Chamber music, with a touch of classical and a hint of Jazz. All of these genres have been part of my recordings and used in concert since the 70’s. With the new millennium here, and our world in a new awareness since September 11, something to soothe the heart and soul seemed to be my best offering.” – Scott Cossu
